In accordance to the Servant Leaders Training Manual (2014) in regards to organizing a Youth-Leader Level I & II Training
Camp, with the acceptance of the League of Chapters Chaplain and the Academic Headquarters, the Executive Committee
would like to announce the Youth-Leader Level I “Ánh Lửa 36” & Level II Knights of Eucharist Training Camp “Ánh Lửa 37” with the following details:
Location: South Maryland District Youth Camp
9201 Surratts Rd, Cheltenham, MD 20623
Duration: Thursday [5:00PM] July 24, 2025 to Sunday [12:00PM] July 27, 2025
2. Fee: $100.00
3. Deadline: Submit the application to Trưởng Lại Đan Uyên (danuyen.lai@veym.net and payment
before April 13, 2025
4. Criteria: Level I – (1) 18 years or older; (2) Currently active at a Chapter; (3) Endorsement from the affiliated Executive Committee and the Chapter’s Chaplain; (4) 3 months of preparation. Leve II – (1) 20 years or older; (2) Has Level I Certification of Completion for at least 3 months; (3) Currently active at a Chapter; (4) Endorsement from the affiliated Executive Committee and the Chapter’s Chaplain; (5) 3 months of preparation.
5. Register: Each applicant must register with VEYM portal at website https://members.veym.net/ to acquire a membership ID number and sign the HT Code of Conduct. Members within LĐĐS, please contact your Chapter President to register through local chapter.
Once the application is received, the Camp’s Training Committee will send information regarding the Pre-Camp Assignments and details regarding the preparation for camp. For the good of Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement, the League Executive Committee hopes that all Chaplains and Chapter Executive Committees encourage and provide opportunities for qualified members to attend. Most importantly, please pray for the success of Camp Ánh Lửa 36 & 37. May the love of Christ Child and Mother Mary bless all the work we do always.
